THE MID-MARKET SALES OPPORTUNITY AT ALTIUM
Altium's ambition to lead the electronic design software sector is gaining momentum, and our dynamic Mid-Market Sales team is at the forefront of this initiative. Joining this team means becoming part of Altium's champions of rapid, high-volume sales. Our Mid-Market Sales group is instrumental in driving a remarkable 75% revenue growth over five years, with a 23% increase from the previous year. This role offers significant career advancement opportunities for high-achieving team members as you contribute to Altium's growth.
This position operates in a hybrid model.
A DAY IN THE ROLE OF A MID-MARKET ACCOUNT MANAGER
- Expanding our subscription base is the primary success metric for this role.
- The Account Manager will cultivate existing accounts and develop innovative campaigns to meet and surpass sales objectives.
- Achieve or exceed daily sales activity requirements through strategic planning of personal sales efforts and customer engagements.
- Maintain a transparent pipeline in Salesforce, adhering to all process requirements.
- Analyze sales data effectively to maximize impact on the sales strategy.
- Embrace Altium's sales methodologies and processes enthusiastically.
- Present the Value Proposition for Altium 365, our cloud-based platform, to engineering teams and management, both in-person and online.
- Become fluent in discussing the Altium product line and technologies with technical audiences.
- Stay informed about competitive products and industry trends.
WHAT WE SEEK IN CANDIDATES

- A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in inside sales, telesales, or business development within the software or technology sectors, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
