Role Overview:
As we expand, Altium seeks a Mid-Market Sales Executive to spearhead growth in the designated region. The primary responsibility of this role is to cultivate new client relationships while enhancing existing ones to promote and upsell our products and services.
This position offers a hybrid work model.
A Typical Day for Our Mid-Market Sales Executive:
- Strategic Planning: Employ a disciplined and analytical approach to manage a portfolio of use cases and effectively position our platform. Ensure the sales pipeline is up-to-date and progressing, providing insightful feedback on strategic elements such as pricing and positioning.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create targeted account plans to maximize revenue growth from new products. Build and leverage relationships within our extensive base of existing accounts and new client accounts to drive organizational strategy.
- Innovative Marketing and Prospecting: Think creatively to enhance awareness of Altium's vision, executing targeted campaigns tailored to your territory.
- Customer Insight: Gain a deep understanding of each client's strategic growth objectives, technology landscape, internal challenges, and competitive environment.
- Market Research: Stay informed on key industry trends and issues by reviewing public information such as executive appointments, earnings reports, and press releases related to the company and its competitors.
- Sales Advancement: Successfully execute the sales strategy and roadmap to advance and close sales opportunities.
- Revenue Generation: Achieve new business revenue targets while collaborating closely with our Customer Success Management and support teams to ensure effective product adoption.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales, solution engineering, or enterprise marketing, with a focus on new product penetration.
- Proven sales strategy skills with a track record of successfully prospecting and acquiring new business.
- Experience in selling various software solutions across multiple business lines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate forecasts for your territory, utilizing sales tools and analytics to identify high-potential customers and develop successful strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate growth.
