About the Position

The Business Development Representatives (BDR) team at Envoy plays a pivotal role in two key areas: nurturing future Account Executives (AEs) within the company and driving new business opportunities for the sales division. As an essential member of the sales force, your primary responsibility will be to create a robust sales pipeline by facilitating qualified discovery meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team.

You will collaborate closely with AEs to identify and evaluate potential accounts, generating enthusiasm and interest among prospects to initiate sales discovery discussions. Your tasks will include conducting thorough research on accounts and contacts, managing a designated territory, qualifying leads, and fostering introductions between AEs and prospective clients.

This outbound BDR position is ideal for individuals eager to fast-track their careers and transition into Account Executive roles. You will gain comprehensive insights into Envoy's product offerings and become proficient in our technology stack, which includes tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Nooks, and Cognism. High performers in this role will be considered for internal promotions to Account Executive and other positions within the organization.

This role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office.

Your Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial point of contact for potential Envoy clients across various sectors, from small enterprises to large corporations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales (AE), Marketing, and BDR Management to ensure an exceptional customer experience for prospective clients.
  • Build connections with motivated colleagues while working three days a week from the office.
  • Implement an Account-Based go-to-market strategy, strategically targeting high-value accounts while maintaining a balance with higher volume outreach (e.g., over 100 outbound calls).
  • Develop a deep understanding of Envoy's product suite and cultivate a unique perspective on the workplace and visitor management industry.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and advance your career within Envoy.
Your Qualifications
  • A minimum of 9 months of experience as a BDR/SDR in the technology sector or over a year of full sales cycle closing experience in another field.
  • Proven ability to prospect Mid-Market/Enterprise level accounts using various methods, including phone outreach, personalized emails, and a range of sales tools.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with our current technology stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo).

Envoy offers a competitive compensation package, including a market-aligned salary, equity for all full-time positions, and comprehensive benefits. If you are located in London, our anticipated cash compensation range for this role is $62,500 - $68,000 (USD) OTE. Final offers may vary within this range based on experience and other factors.
