Shooting Star Children's Hospices is devoted to delivering specialized care and assistance to families with a baby, child, or young person facing a life-limiting condition, or those who have experienced bereavement. Our organization has been rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission, providing support to families across various regions from diagnosis through to end-of-life care and during bereavement, encompassing a wide range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical support.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Children's Hospice team in Hampton, working five days a week.

This position will assist our dynamic Family Support Team, which includes Counsellors, Therapists, and Family Support Workers.

Candidates should possess prior experience in an administrative capacity and have a strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively and empathetically with parents and caregivers of children with life-limiting conditions, bereaved families, and other professionals.
