Type - Fixed Term/Secondment

Hours - 21 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team of Administrative Coordinators, providing essential support to the Directors within York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP).

The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Directors with their daily responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and addressing issues proactively to prevent escalation. This position serves as the primary liaison between senior management and external partners, facilitating smooth operations and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all matters related to the Director(s), fostering a confidential and professional relationship to support the operational and strategic goals of the Division.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to advance the business objectives of the Director(s) and the organization.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Director's portfolios to provide informed administrative support.
  • Produce high-quality, professional documents using various software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Take the lead on corporate matters requiring initiative and sound judgment, delivering exceptional executive assistance services. Responsibilities include managing diaries, databases, and advanced IT tasks.
  • Occasionally prepare minutes for Management Group meetings, coordinating documentation and tracking action items.

Additional Information

This role may be considered for a secondment opportunity, subject to prior agreement with your current line manager.
