Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team within the CAMHS framework. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents, particularly focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical leadership in the neurodevelopmental and learning disability pathway.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments.
- Initiate and monitor pharmacological treatments tailored to the needs of young patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective management of complex cases.
- Participate in regular CPD sessions and local care quality meetings to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
- Primary medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or expected completion of CCT.
- Experience in managing complex emotional disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Strong teaching and supervisory skills for junior staff and other disciplines.

- Ability to engage effectively with young people and their families.
- Willingness to undergo training for Clinical Supervisor role.
