Position Overview:

As a Lead Night Care Assistant, your role is to provide compassionate support to our residents, treating them with the same care and respect as you would your own family. You will be responsible for addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment during the night hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal assistance.
  • Oversee medication administration and lead the shift effectively.
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere by encouraging social interaction and engagement among residents.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent care certification is preferred, though training will be provided.
  • Experience in a care home setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and a dedicated approach to care.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
