Role Responsibilities: This position encompasses oversight of up to five supported living arrangements within the designated area. You will collaborate with a large management team in a pleasant office environment. The Senior Support Team Leader is tasked with ensuring high-quality support across these services for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, as well as long-term health conditions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Leading, managing, and supervising a dedicated team of staff
  • Ensuring that compassionate and respectful personalized support is consistently delivered
  • Effectively managing accommodation and facilities, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard
  • Providing services in alignment with individual support plans, service specifications, and CQC requirements
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and commissioners

Flexibility and Commitment: This senior role requires adaptability throughout the week, with responsibilities including direct care and support as well as off-rotation management duties. As the Senior Support Team Leader, you will be expected to thoroughly understand the needs of all service users and serve as a professional role model, providing coaching and mentorship to staff. A high level of motivation and personal dedication is essential, along with proven skills and experience in assessing needs, planning support, supervising staff, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: You will assist the Registered Service Manager in upholding the overall quality of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC essential care standards. A relevant degree or vocational qualification in health or social care is required (such as NVQ or H&SCD 3/4/5).
