**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a beautiful, warm, and welcoming 98-bed Care Home that specialises in Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet the personal care and hygiene needs of residents, in such a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.
- Help in the care of the residents' physical environment as well as general day-to-day activities of the home.
- Complete medication rounds and record information as necessary in a clear and precise manner and in accordance with homes guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and other professionals.
- Guide and supervise Care Assistants in their day-to-day routine.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs, demands of the home and participate in appropriate training, encouraging and supporting staff in their development and training.
- Understand your safeguarding responsibilities, develop your understanding and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support, and safeguard adults in a way that recognises their choice and control.
- Undertake any other duties that are a reasonable request from Management for the benefit of the Home.
- Experience in a Senior position.
- Experience in a care home.
- Experience in dementia care.
- Level 3 NVQ.
