About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Lead the medication round and ensure accurate administration.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with fire procedures, health and safety legislation, and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
