**Job Title:** Senior Healthcare Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a beautiful, warm, and welcoming 98-bed Care Home that specializes in Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet the personal care and hygiene needs of residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.
  • Assist in the care of residents' physical environment and general day-to-day activities of the home.
  • Complete medication rounds and record information as necessary in a clear and precise manner, adhering to home guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and other professionals.
  • Guide and supervise Care Assistants in their day-to-day routine.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home, participating in appropriate training and encouraging staff development.
  • Understand and implement safeguarding responsibilities, reducing the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support.
  • Undertake any other duties that are a reasonable request from Management for the benefit of the Home.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Senior position.
  • Experience in a care home.
  • Experience in dementia care.
  • Level 3 NVQ.
