Role Overview: Are you equipped with the expertise, insight, and positive values necessary to guide our dedicated team of Senior staff and Support Workers in delivering effective, person-centred support services?

Position Details: This role encompasses the management of up to five supported tenancies within the Swinton region. You will collaborate with a substantial management team in a pleasant office environment located centrally in Swinton. The Team Manager is tasked with overseeing high-quality support across these schemes for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, as well as long-term health needs.

Our Mission: We prioritize delivering person-centred, outcome-focused support that empowers individuals to lead fulfilling lives, maintain their tenancies, engage with the local community, cultivate independent living skills, and achieve their personal aspirations. The Team Manager will ensure that the service maximizes positive outcomes and meets the highest standards of service delivery, contract compliance, and CQC regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and supervise a dedicated team of staff.
  • Guarantee that compassionate and respectful personalized support is consistently provided.
  • Effectively manage accommodation and facilities, ensuring they are upheld to a high standard.
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with individual support plans, service specifications, and CQC requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and commissioners.

Flexibility and Commitment: This senior role demands flexibility throughout the week, including time spent on shifts providing direct care and off-rotation management duties. As the Team Manager, you will be expected to thoroughly understand the needs of all service users and serve as a professional role model, offering coaching and mentorship to staff. A high level of motivation and personal commitment is essential, along with proven skills and experience in assessing needs, planning support, deploying and supervising staff, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: You will assist the Registered Service Manager in upholding the overall quality of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC essential standards of care. A relevant degree or vocational qualification in health or social care is required (such as NVQ or H&SCD 3/4/5).
