We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a 98-bed Care Home that specializes in Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care.
Key Responsibilities- Meet the personal care and hygiene needs of residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.
- Assist in the care of residents' physical environment and general day-to-day activities.
- Complete medication rounds and record information accurately.
- Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and other professionals.
- Supervise and guide Care Assistants in their daily routine.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Understand and implement safeguarding policies to prevent abuse or neglect.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested by Management to benefit the Home.
- Experience in a Senior position, preferably in a care home setting.
- Experience in dementia care and a Level 3 NVQ qualification.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant at our Care Home, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
