About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Lead the medication round and ensure accurate administration.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of residents, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a care home environment, although not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and weekends.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and customer service.
