Position Overview:

As an Overnight Senior Care Specialist, your role will be to provide compassionate care to our residents, treating them as if they were your own family. You will be responsible for addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs, ensuring a high standard of personal care including bathing, hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and oversee the medication round.
  • Lead the shift, ensuring all care standards are met.
  • Support residents with personal care tasks and daily activities.

We seek individuals who are genuinely kind and caring, eager to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or a care certificate (training provided).
  • Experience in a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Leadership experience in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a committed approach to care.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.

Additional Duties:

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintaining personal and professional development to adapt to the evolving needs of the home.
  • Understanding and adhering to safeguarding responsibilities to protect vulnerable adults.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations and fire procedures.
  • Completing all required training as determined by the organization.
