Financial Operations Assistant

The role of Financial Operations Assistant encompasses:

Aligning purchase invoices with received orders using our DB Capture software. Collaborating with various departments to address any pricing inquiries or discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices. Conducting supplier statement reconciliations as necessary. Working collaboratively with other finance team members and departments to deliver a professional and supportive service to all suppliers and colleagues. Timely escalation of issues, ensuring that critical information is communicated regularly to relevant teams and individuals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing any account-related queries or concerns. Proposing enhancements for system improvements to foster more efficient processes. Performing general finance housekeeping tasks.

Key qualifications for Financial Operations Assistant:

Experience in finance or accounts administration. Strong communication skills across all levels. Excellent organizational abilities and workload prioritization. High attention to detail and the ability to meet daily deadlines. Capability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Sage or similar software.
