Position Overview:

Are you an experienced Specification Sales Manager with a background in engaging with users and specifiers in the private sector, including builders, OEMs, and facilities management firms? This is an excellent opportunity to join Williams Manufacturing, a well-established and respected manufacturer known for its commitment to quality.

As a Specification Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in the company’s growth, contributing to its ongoing success while benefiting from numerous advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in specification sales and a thorough understanding of working alongside manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an account portfolio with a focus on relationship building and growth.
  • Achieve personal turnover and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with internal commercial and sales support teams.
  • Assist in contract and tender negotiations.
  • Monitor current market trends and predict future developments.
  • Analyze competitor activities.
  • Prepare forecasts and KPI reports for senior management.
  • Travel regularly across the North of England, with occasional overnight stays.

This role is predominantly external, requiring proactive engagement with your accounts. You will plan visits and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process, striving to meet revenue and margin objectives. By placing the customer at the center of your approach, you will aim to provide value that encourages them to transition from their current providers.
