Position: Specification Sales Manager

Compensation: £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience, plus uncapped bonus, company vehicle, private healthcare, paid holidays, bank holidays, pension plan, and additional company benefits.

Are you an experienced Specification Sales Manager with a background in engaging with users and specifiers in the private sector, including builders, OEMs, and facilities management firms? As a Specification Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in the company's growth strategy, contributing to its ongoing success while enjoying ample opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on account management, emphasizing relationship development and expansion.
  • Achieve personal sales turnover and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with internal commercial and sales support teams.
  • Assist in contract and tender negotiations.
  • Monitor current market trends and anticipate future developments.
  • Analyze competitor activities.
  • Prepare forecasts and KPI reports for senior management.
  • Regular travel across the North of England, including occasional overnight stays.

This role is predominantly external, requiring proactive management of your account portfolio. You will plan visits and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process, striving to meet revenue and margin objectives. Your customer-centric approach will be essential in demonstrating the value of transitioning from their current providers.
