Birmingham Healthy Minds is a dedicated team of psychological professionals operating within an IAPT framework throughout Birmingham. We are currently looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and proactive administrative support officer to join our team in the southern region of the city.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, and confidential administrative service to assist the clinical team. The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting strict deadlines. You will collaborate closely with a small administrative team, but it is crucial to possess the capability to prioritize your tasks and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the operations of Birmingham Healthy Minds.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, managing calls and relaying messages effectively.
- Facilitate outpatient appointments using both Trust patient information systems and internal databases.
- Assist the broader administrative and multidisciplinary teams with general administrative duties.
- Provide coverage for colleagues as needed, which may involve working at various locations to fulfill service requirements.
- Adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the needs of the service.

Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with IAPTus/RIO or similar systems.
- Experience in a mental health or NHS setting.
