Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Water Quality Process Control Technician to enhance our Water Quality Process Support team. This role is pivotal in delivering technical support to our operational units responsible for supplying safe drinking water to our clientele in the Essex and Suffolk regions.

The focus of this position is to assist our water supply teams in maintaining superior water quality while safeguarding the environment. Your responsibilities will include investigating instances where water treatment performance does not align with established standards.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to refine their analytical and problem-solving abilities through the monitoring of treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote awareness of water treatment processes and control measures to elevate competence within the Water Supply teams.

- Conduct root cause analysis by scrutinizing data quality and accuracy, generating detailed reports, and identifying areas for enhancement.

Candidate Profile

The ideal Water Quality Process Control Technician will regularly analyze water quality performance data. You should be adept at interpreting this data to ensure our water treatment processes function effectively and efficiently.

This diverse role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision, adapting to a range of tasks as needed.

In this position, you will be responsible for report writing and training team members, thus proven communication skills are essential. You will also provide technical support to personnel operating our water treatment systems, engaging in data analysis and interpretation to identify challenges and propose solutions for optimizing processes and assets.

This is a remarkable opportunity for individuals eager to expand their technical expertise, engage with both internal and external stakeholders, and take initiative in shaping operational practices within the Water team.
