Water Quality Process Control Technician

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Water Quality Process Control Technician to enhance our Water Quality Process Support team. This role is pivotal in delivering technical support to our operational teams responsible for providing safe drinking water to our customers.

The focus of this position is to assist our water supply teams in maintaining high water quality standards while ensuring environmental protection. You will conduct thorough investigations to identify areas where water treatment performance may not align with our quality expectations.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to refine your analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to monitor and assess treatment processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by fostering a culture of innovation and best practices within the team.
- Raise awareness of water treatment processes and establish monitoring and control measures to enhance the competency of the Water Supply teams.
- Collaborate with Water Supply and Water Quality teams to assess asset conditions and performance using SCADA systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis by evaluating data quality and accuracy, and generate comprehensive reports to identify improvement opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance analysis of water quality. You should be adept at interpreting data to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our water treatment processes.

This role requires flexibility to manage a diverse workload and the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for writing reports and providing training to various teams. You should be capable of delivering technical support to those involved in water treatment operations, performing data analysis, and identifying solutions to optimize processes.
