Project Engineer - Water (6 Month Contract)


About the Role:

This nationwide business, a specialist contractor, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale projects in the Water industry. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on-time and in-budget, while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring costs and project deliverables
  2. Reporting back on project progress to all stakeholders
  3. Liaising with subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in a timely and safe manner
  4. Maintaining a project risk register
  5. Carrying out technical inspections to ensure projects are delivered in adherence to specifications
  6. Providing support where needed with any technical issues during delivery

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a Project Engineering/Project Management position
  2. Coming from a Mechanical Engineering background
  3. Experience either in a Process environment (e.g Water, Pharma, Chemicals) or with Pump projects
  4. Full UK driving license
