Elvet Recruitment is actively seeking a Project Manager for a reputable civil engineering contractor focused on managing diverse projects throughout the North East region. This contractor is renowned for its expertise in sectors such as Highways, Public Realm, Structures, and Plotworks.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Prepare and present daily and weekly progress updates, alongside variation reports for ongoing projects.
  • Facilitate weekly internal discussions and client meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Produce monthly reports in accordance with contractual obligations, including commercial documentation.
  • Manage various contract types, including NEC and JCT.
  • Develop and maintain procurement schedules to optimize project delivery.
  • Oversee documentation processes for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO18001 compliance.
Required Experience for the Project Manager Position:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Site Agent or Project Manager on civil engineering projects valued at £5 million or more.
  • In-depth understanding of Public Realm, Highways, and Structures projects.
  • Valid certifications including SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.
  • Familiarity with planning software and contractual obligations.
Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £60,000, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
