Project Engineer - Water (6 Month Contract)
About the Role:
This nationwide business, a leading provider of specialist support and engineering services, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale water projects in North England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor costs and project deliverables to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
- Regularly report on project progress to stakeholders, covering costs and adherence to deliverables.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a project risk register to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct technical inspections to ensure projects meet specifications.
- Provide technical support as needed during project delivery.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with:
- Previous experience in a Project Engineering or Project Management position.
- A Mechanical Engineering background.
- Experience in a Process environment (e.g., Water, Pharma, Chemicals) or with Pump projects.
- A full UK driving license.
