Durham, Durham, United Kingdom Northumbrian Water Full time

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Integrated Delivery Services (IDS) team as a Workstream Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team to deliver business improvements and drive success for our customers, communities, and the environment.

As a Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for leading a grouping of projects and taking ownership of the planning and delivery of each Workstream. This will involve developing a holistic strategy, analyzing current approaches, and implementing changes to drive business growth and improvement.

You will work closely with our existing team to develop a detailed scale-up strategy, a plan to implement, and then lead the implementation working collaboratively within the IDS workstream of our Transformation programme and across NWG partner functions, in a structured Programmatic approach.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with experience in managing stakeholder relationships and multiple priorities. You will have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes, managing competing deadlines, and working at pace to meet demanding schedules.

You will have experience of scaling construction output/teams and an understanding of the project lifecycle journey for a D&C entity. You will have experience of working in a Contractor environment and have been involved in/led the process of expanding that, or other, organisations and all the associated requirements, in a robust and formulated manner whilst also maintaining a focus on continued successful delivery of that business through the expansion process.

We're open to candidates from other backgrounds that can bring new ways of working and thinking to our business. We're interested in candidates with transferrable knowledge and skillsets from other sectors, with a willingness and capability to learn.

This is a Safety or Security Critical Role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you'll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test, prior to or within four weeks of their start date.

Please note this role may require a DBS to be completed prior to employment.
