Job Title: Internal Business Development Executive

Job Summary:

Virtuoso Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the charity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the charity sector, with a focus on generating a new pipeline of customers.
  • Lead Generation: Respond to all inbound leads directly from potential customers or partners, and work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover to customer service.
  • Account Management: Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure account applications are fully completed, signed, and submitted to relevant acquirers.
  • Product Knowledge: Ensure a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to effectively position them for customers and operations.
  • Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records and reports on sales activity, and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Results-Oriented: Be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to achieve sales targets.
  • Administrative Skills: Possess good time management, administration, planning, and organizational skills, with a working knowledge of email, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education: A good level of education, with a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, or previous charity experience and a strong network of contacts.

Working Environment:

The role holder may be required to travel between sites or for meetings with staff, customers, or suppliers. The job role holder may from time to time be required to operate to a flexible work-time schedule, working in response to peak workload periods and the requirement to achieve sales targets.
