Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the charity sector, with a focus on generating a new pipeline of customers.
  • Lead Generation: Respond to all inbound leads directly from potential customers or partners, and work closely with internal teams to get account applications fully completed, signed, and submitted to relevant acquirers.
  • Account Management: Ensure the correct product is ordered and relevant contract signed, and provide a smooth handover to Customer Service.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Keep required systems and reporting tools updated on the progress of all activity, and deliver sales, distribution, and profit targets.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to achieve sales targets.
  • Administrative Skills: Good time management, administration, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Good working knowledge and experience of using email, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education: Good level of education, with a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, or previous charity experience and a strong network of contacts.
