Business Development Manager

Antony James Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in the finance sector. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maximising all profitable sales from inbound enquiries while developing and retaining customer relationships working from warm leads.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive driven approach. They will be responsible for:

  • Exceeding targets and increasing business profit and revenue.
  • Handling all incoming enquiries and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Upselling and cross-selling products to existing clients.
  • Following up on all quotes and finalising deals.
  • Recording all necessary data in CRM systems.

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

  • A salesperson with a target-driven attitude and experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in the finance sector, preferably with a background in direct sales and account management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills and active listening abilities.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Efficiency in CRM and business intelligence sales tools.
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
