About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Massenhove Recruitment. As a key player in driving the growth and expansion of our client base, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new client opportunities across the general insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new leads and close sales to establish long-term relationships with new clients.
  • Work closely with a skilled team of Broking & Claims professionals to deliver a full-service experience to clients from initial contact through to ongoing management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong preference for those with a background in broking or underwriting.
  • Proven track record in generating and converting new business leads within the insurance sector.
  • Extensive experience in managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Educational background in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience of using Acturis / Broking platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for frequent client travel.
