About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team in Trowbridge. As a community-based prescriber, you will work under the supervision of our Clinical Services Manager, alongside our Clinical Team and specialist Recovery Workers and Peer Mentors to improve the wellbeing of individuals across Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals with substance use issues, including opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, providing robust governance and supporting team learning and development.
  • Deliver targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, Dried Blood Spot Testing, and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
  • Attend prescribers meetings, one-to-one clinical supervision, and national prescriber/clinician meetings to support learning and continuous professional development.
