We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our community-based prescribing service, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of individuals struggling with substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert prescribing services to individuals in our community-based settings, including opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, providing robust governance and supporting team learning and development.
- Deliver targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, Dried Blood Spot Testing, and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
- Attend prescribers' meetings, one-to-one clinical supervision, and national prescriber/clinician meetings to support learning and continuous professional development.
- Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber with a strong background in community-based prescribing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop support packages tailored to individual needs.
- Deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience, with a genuine interest in helping individuals with diverse needs.
- NMC Registration/GPhC Renewal fee paid for.
