Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team in Trowbridge. As a community-based prescriber, you will work with individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities

As a prescriber, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications
  • Conducting health and wellbeing assessments
  • Contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings and providing robust governance
  • Delivering targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, and blood borne virus testing
