About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team in Trowbridge. As a community-based prescriber, you will work closely with our Clinical Team and specialist Recovery Workers and Peer Mentors to improve the wellbeing of individuals across Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals with substance use issues, including opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, providing robust governance and supporting team learning and development.
  • Deliver targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, Dried Blood Spot Testing, and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
