About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our team in Trowbridge. As a community-based prescriber, you will work with individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prescribing services to individuals with substance use issues, including opiate substitute treatment and relapse prevention medications.
- Work closely with the clinical team, specialist recovery workers, and peer mentors to deliver a comprehensive service.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, providing robust governance and supporting team learning and development.
- Deliver targeted and opportunistic clinical interventions, including liver elastography, ECGs, and blood-borne virus testing.
