About the Role…

Our Convenience Retail team are excited to announce a new Brand Manager vacancy to help promote the brand. As a Brand Manager it will be your passion to grow and promote the brand.

The ideal candidate will ensure that the appearance and integrity of the brand is at the best possible standard. In this role you will be required to demonstrate core leadership and leadership skills by driving your teams to achieve consistent objectives, developing people competencies, listening & valuing opinions, coaching & counselling and recognising / correcting inferior performance.

This role will involve significant business development activity, and NTI/Store openings.

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver business development/growth objectives for the Brand Identifying growth opportunities within the market through new store locations in collaboration with the property team. Use data-driven insights to inform on new product development. Manage product launch processes, from concept to market introduction. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for brand initiatives. Establish and maintain a robust partnership with Equity Assist in the development for underperforming stores and create strategies for improvement. Hold regular meetings with your team to discuss performance and suggest improvements / different strategies. Drive revenue, profitability and quality of business while enhancing and ensuring standards are always met. Increasing sales and profits through financial management, leadership, and practice Prepare, review and report on budgets and expenditure. Monitor waste and labour costs with accurate records ensuring that action plans are implemented to meet and maintain targets. Protect both the Brand & EGOTM brands and deal with issues promptly. Assisting with the preparation of short- and long-term business plans Ensure Brand standards are communicated with insight and enthusiasm. Identify training priorities and draw up training plans. Offer support and advice in dealing with and resolving customer complaints keeping in mind brand standards. Willingness to take responsibility and accountability for making decisions. Creating a culture where well-being matters and good performance is rewarded and recognised. Conduct store visits to assess the conditions and recommend changes. Work to constantly drive down waste and inefficiency, reviewing and adapting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and maximise output. Recruit new colleagues for your team in line with HR procedures. Develop and maintain positive relationships with your team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns. Review Regional Manager performance to ensure our people are supported and developed to reach their full potential by conducting regular one-to-one review in addition to the annual appraisal. Responsible for new store openings to ensure sites are fully prepared and staffed in time for the opening date. Ensure all your stores meet EGOTM standards in accordance with audit criteria. Ensure Health & Safety, Food Safety and hygiene procedures & standards are maintained and followed accordingly by all colleagues.

Candidate Requirements

Understanding of P&L/Budgets and financial KPI’s Previous operational / leadership experience in a Food Brand People Management experience Forecast and budget experience. New Store Opening credentials Desirable: Food Hygiene/Food Safety experience Desirable: Marketing/Brand development experience
