About the Position...

The Convenience Retail division is thrilled to introduce a new opportunity for a Brand Development Manager to enhance and elevate the brand's presence. In this role, your enthusiasm for brand growth and promotion will be key.

The successful candidate will uphold the brand's image and integrity to the highest standards. This position will encompass extensive business growth initiatives and new store openings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve business growth targets for the brand.
  • Identify market expansion opportunities in collaboration with the property team.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to guide new product innovations.
  • Oversee product launch strategies from conception to market entry.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure support for brand initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with Equity.
  • Support underperforming locations with strategic improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and propose enhancements.
  • Drive revenue and profitability while ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
  • Enhance sales and profits through effective financial management and leadership.
  • Prepare and analyze budgets and financial reports.
  • Monitor operational costs and implement action plans to meet targets.
  • Safeguard the integrity of both the Brand and EGOTM brands by addressing issues promptly.
  • Assist in formulating short- and long-term business strategies.
  • Communicate brand standards with enthusiasm and insight.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs.
  • Provide guidance in resolving customer complaints while adhering to brand standards.
  • Take ownership and accountability for decision-making.
  • Foster a culture that values well-being and recognizes high performance.
  • Conduct store assessments to recommend improvements.
  • Continuously seek to reduce waste and inefficiencies, adapting processes for better output.
  • Recruit new team members in accordance with HR protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with team members by addressing their motivations and concerns.
  • Evaluate Regional Manager performance to ensure team development through regular reviews.
  • Oversee new store openings to ensure readiness and staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with EGOTM standards through audits.
  • Maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene standards across all locations.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proficient understanding of P&L, budgets, and financial KPIs.
  • Previous experience in operational leadership within a food brand.
  • Experience in people management.

  • Desirable: Experience in marketing and brand development.
