**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of forecourt operations, including fuel sales, EV charging revenue, grocery, and merchandise sales and overheads (both fixed and variable).
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts for forecourt operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimise revenue generation, cost management, and profitability.
- Track budget performance against targets and variance analysis to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the forecourt sector.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to leverage data and analytics for informed decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Identify data requirements and develop reporting tools and dashboards to support financial analysis and reporting needs.

- Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) - Preferred
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within the retail or consumer goods industry, preferably in the forecourt sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) systems and collaborating with BI teams - Desirable
- Experience of Mergers & Acquisitions - Desirable
