Role Overview

The Estates Surveyor will play a pivotal role in managing the operational, investment, and sublet property portfolio of EG On The Move. Reporting directly to the Chief Real Estates Officer, this position encompasses comprehensive property and asset management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to cultivate robust relationships, ensuring a service that is both commercially driven and customer-centric.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in asset and portfolio management across the EG On The Move portfolio, identifying opportunities to enhance value.
  • Coordinate with landlords and tenants to facilitate effective management of the property portfolio in accordance with best estate management practices.
  • Oversee the management of service charges related to the investment portfolio.
  • Ensure the timely collection and payment of rent and service charges.
  • Conduct all aspects of Landlord and Tenant work, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and licenses for alterations.
  • Maintain and update the property database.
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in property management.
  • Proficient in database management.
  • Highly organized and efficient in task execution.
  • A degree in property management or RICS qualification is desirable.
