Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a talented Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to join our team at Scottish Opera. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to drive fundraising success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in fundraising or development, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with knowledge of fundraising best practices and compliance.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Glasgow, with occasional travel to other locations across Scotland. The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including flexible/hybrid working, employer pension contribution of up to 8%, health cash plan, and Perkbox.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Donor Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, while cultivating new partnerships to drive growth.
  2. Fundraising Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  3. Fundraising Event Coordination: Coordinate and lead fundraising events, campaigns, and activities to engage stakeholders and promote the organization's mission.
  4. Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to stakeholders, showcasing fundraising progress and impact.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives and ensure seamless integration.

Salary Range: £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
