Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time, temporary contract for a period of 2 years. The successful candidate will have flexibility of hybrid working, combining time in a community hub with remote working if preferred.

The Menopause Warriors Scotland Charity is committed to supporting and empowering individuals experiencing menopause symptoms in Glasgow and surrounding areas to take control of their health and wellbeing during menopause and beyond.

This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse communities, particularly women-focused or health-focused groups, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

About the Role:
This role involves leading fundraising initiatives to secure financial resources, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to various projects and programs within the charity.

Key responsibilities include:
• Exceptional information technology and communication skills;
• Leading fundraising initiatives to secure financial resources;
• Prior experience in administrative roles;
• Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook;
• Effective communication and organisational skills;
• Comprehensive understanding of data management and bookkeeping;
• A flexible approach to adapting to a fluctuating workload within a demanding environment;
• Experience in editing podcasts and videos;

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A comprehensive understanding of software applications;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Strong organisational and time management skills;
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
