Job Title: Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

About Scottish Opera:

We are a leading cultural institution in Scotland, dedicated to producing high-quality opera performances and promoting the art form across the country.

Salary and Benefits:

£65,000 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package including employer pension contribution of up to 8% and health cash plan.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new funding opportunities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fundraising, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management skills. They will be able to articulate the case for support and work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, corporate supporters, and high net worth individuals.
  • Identify new funding opportunities and develop proposals to secure support.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Working Arrangements:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9.30am - 5.30pm).
  • Flexible/hybrid working available.
  • Occasional travel required to other locations across Scotland.
