Philanthropy and Partnerships Coordinator

Scottish Opera seeks an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our donor engagement efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising and a strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.
About the Role:
The Donor Engagement Fundraising Manager will play a key role in securing funding for Scottish Opera through effective donor engagement and stewardship. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a donor engagement strategy that increases donations and improves relationships with existing donors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a donor engagement strategy to increase donations and improve relationships with existing donors.
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporates, and trusts.
- Plan and deliver events, appeals, and campaigns to secure new and retain existing donors.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience in fundraising, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
