About the Role

The Saxon Spires Practice is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and scan incoming patient-related mail and documents
  • Download and code relevant information into patient electronic healthcare records using EMIS Web
  • Perform administrative tasks related to patient records, including adding additional information and forwarding documents to clinical team members
  • Identify and code relevant clinical information contained in patient correspondence
  • Deal with queries related to coding and patient records

Requirements

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in using EMIS Web
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Commitment to professional development

Working Relationships

The post holder will have regular contact with the clinical team, prescriptions team, and administration team.
