Job Title: Scanning and Coding Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scanning and Coding Administrator at The Saxon Spires Practice.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for scanning and downloading patient-related documents, coding relevant information into electronic healthcare records, and performing administrative tasks related to patient records.

Main Duties:

  • Sort and scan incoming patient-related mail
  • Download patient-related documents onto medical records using read codes
  • Add additional information about document sources
  • Forward documents to relevant clinical team members
  • Identify and code clinical information in patient correspondence
  • Deal with coding queries
