About the Role

The Global Partner Organization's Partner Strategy and Business Development team at Workday leads strategy, planning, and business development for the partner business. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business, lead strategic partner relationships, and deliver sizable net-new revenue growth with partners.

The Cloud GTM Alliance Leader will lead our strategic relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and hyperscalers in EMEA in support of our global partnership. The role will shape and lead our cloud strategy and go-to-market with CSPs in the region, working closely with Sales Leaders and Account Teams.

A key responsibility will be working with the global team in shaping our strategic collaboration initiatives with CSPs, developing new solutions and GTM partner plays that expand the addressable market, accelerate time to revenue, and create competitive advantage for customers, Workday, and partners.

About You

A successful leader will have executive presence, strong communication skills, and be a strong facilitator coordinating across Sales, Product, CX, Marketing, and Partner organizations. They will operate with partner obsession and high judgment, taking ownership and accountability for exceeding expectations and targets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Partner Alliances experience in driving pipeline and revenue growth through partner GTM programs.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a Partner strategy and business development role.

Other Qualifications:

  • Alliance management or Public Cloud partner management experience ideal (with Public cloud certifications as a plus).
  • Ability to frame, structure, and execute large and complex partnerships.
  • Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and executives.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity, a positive demeanor, and high energy.
  • 20-30% travel.
