About the Role

The Partner Strategy and Business Development team in the Global Partner Organization at Workday leads strategy, planning, and business development for the partner business. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business, lead strategic partner relationships, and deliver sizable, net-new revenue growth with partners.

The Public Cloud GTM Alliance Leader will lead our strategic relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and hyperscalers in EMEA in support of our global partnership. The role will be responsible for shaping and leading our cloud strategy and go-to-market with CSPs in the region. Working closely with our Sales Leaders and Account Teams, it will define our annual growth plan with CSPs, identifying target markets & industries, developing sales plays & solutions, training & enabling Account Teams, Solution Consultants, Customer Experience, Customer Success, and Support colleagues, and delivering on our revenue targets and strategic milestones.

A key responsibility will be working with the global team in shaping our strategic collaboration initiatives with CSPs, developing new and innovative solutions and GTM partner plays that expand addressable market, accelerate time to revenue, and create competitive advantage for Customers, Workday, and Partners.

About You

A successful leader will have executive presence and communication skills. They will be a strong facilitator, coordinating across Sales, Product, CX, Marketing, and Partner organizations. They will operate with Partner obsession and high judgment. Lastly, they will exhibit ownership and take accountability for exceeding expectations and targets. We are a creative team, passionate about our work with Partners, and excited by the impact we have. We are looking for a leader and Workmate who shares our values and is willing to have fun along the way.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Partner Alliances experience, aimed at driving pipeline and revenue growth through partner GTM programs.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a Partner strategy and business development role.

Other Qualifications:

  • Alliance management or Public Cloud partner management experience ideal (with Public cloud certifications as a plus).
  • Ability to frame, structure, and execute large and complex partnerships.
  • Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and executives.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity, a positive demeanor, and high energy.
  • Travel: 20-30%.
