About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Head of Executive Compensation at Oakleaf Partnership.

This newly created role has been established to support the business in creating a first-class Executive Reward Strategy for the international business, while building a legacy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the Directors' Remuneration Report, ensuring compliance and continual improvement to our external remuneration reporting.

Key responsibilities include drafting the Directors' Remuneration Report, liaising with external advisors, collating data for the DRR, and obtaining sign-off from auditors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the UK corporate governance environment, investor body guidelines, and the Corporate Governance Code.

They will possess strong planning and project management skills, be commercially aware, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting the Directors' Remuneration Report and ensuring compliance with external remuneration reporting
  • Collating data for the DRR and obtaining sign-off from auditors
  • Preparing papers for the Remuneration Committee, including all aspects of the executive remuneration cycle
  • Establishing a reporting framework and process for regular updates and information to the Remuneration Committee
  • Being the trusted advisor and in-house expert on all things executive reward and governance
  • Working with HR Directors and reward team colleagues to develop appropriate packages for senior hires and advise on senior exits
  • Managing Company Share Schemes and platforms, including executive share plans, all-employee share plans, and dilution monitoring
Requirements
  • Experience working within a FTSE organization
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK corporate governance environment, investor body guidelines, and the Corporate Governance Code
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Commercially aware and able to think strategically, operationally, and pragmatically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate a global, matrix organization
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
