Job Description:

About the Role:

The Director Compensation and Benefits Specialist will lead critical projects across EMEA, focusing on areas such as pay transparency, job evaluation, and the automation of core compensation and benefits programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a compensation and benefits strategy to ensure compliance with European pay transparency regulations by June 2026.
  2. Lead initiatives to evolve compensation and benefits processes and integrate them with our HRIS solution, maximizing the value of Marriott's existing technology.
  3. Review and refine programs and processes to drive further automation, ensuring maximum value delivery to stakeholders and associates.
  4. Act as the guardian and ambassador of compensation and benefits data quality, refining existing processes to achieve a tangible return on investment from updating system information.
  5. Provide compensation consulting expertise to support customers in making informed compensation decisions.
  6. Collaborate with HR to identify and scope compensation projects through development and implementation, developing project plans and managing project milestones.
  7. Develop training and presentation materials for compensation & benefits programs and education for HR Team and Leaders.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in compensation and benefits in a large complex organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in management or support implementation or work with HR compensation systems, previous experience of managing strategic projects in Compensation and Benefits, and knowledge of compensation practices, job analysis/evaluation, benchmarking, local labor regulations, and general HR practices.
