Job Description

We seek a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team in EMEA. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and managing our compensation strategies to ensure they meet industry standards and our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and develop compensation policies for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with HQ standards.
  • Provide expert advice on overseas compensation laws, market practices, and compliance requirements, supporting HQ in designing global salary plans and systems.
  • Participate in external benchmarking exercises to ensure our compensation principles remain competitive in the market.
  • Constantly review best practices in the market for benefits in the EMEA region, working closely with HQ to enhance cost-effectiveness of our benefits programs.
  • Act as an expert on all C&B related matters and serve as the point of contact for queries in the region.
  • Partner with country HR and legal teams to ensure compliance between Tencent's offering and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource administration, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • C&B accreditations such as GRP, CECP, CSCP, CBP, or related certifications.
  • Self-driven, conscientious, strong adaptability, and fast learner.
  • Ability to work in a complex matrixed organization and start-up environment.
  • Previous experience in the Gaming, Tech, and Startup sector is highly sought after.
  • Ability to communicate bilingually (English / Mandarin) to work with international stakeholders and China HQ-based teammates.
