Compensation and Benefits Director

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Director to oversee our payroll cycle for two payrolls in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with our payroll guidelines, manage a Payroll Assistant, and work closely with business directors to improve processes and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure timely completion of the complete payroll cycle for two payrolls in the UK and Ireland
- Collaborate with the Payroll Assistant to resolve complex queries from employees, delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintain the integrity of the payroll system, data, and functionality
- Develop strategies to enhance payroll administration and reporting
- Liaise with Finance on payroll liabilities, reconciliations, and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Manage the auto-enrollment process, ensuring it meets legal requirements
- Provide expert advice on benefits best practices
- Offer real-time visual insights on the company's overall health with up-to-the-minute workforce analytics
- Analyze and report annual salary benchmarking and gender pay metrics
- Supervise monthly headcount reporting in line with Group guidelines
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar compensation and benefits role in the UK
- In-depth understanding of UK work regulations regarding payroll and general HR matters
- Proficient in Excel and Office suite
- Exceptional data analysis skills
- Experience working with an outsourced payroll provider
- A team player with strong communication skills, able to build trust across departments and work closely with the Finance Director
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum
